It's very important to understand that you will not loose weight or become more healthy unless you change your eating habits & make it a new lifestyle. Only then, it will be easy to achieve & loosing the weight will be a side effect of it. Do not focus on loosing the weight, it will happen automatically as you lead this new natural, balanced, and moderate lifestyle.
But, one very important thing to understand is you will loose that weight slowly; remember this is a natural not artificial solution & if you look at most things in nature, they happen gradually not suddenlty (at least constructive processes)
Do not beleive those ads that tell you you will loose 30 pounds in 1 month; they will be most likely based on a unnatural and/or non-sustainable process which most likely will balance itself quickly afterwards by gaining that weight again.
